I heard that the opposing slate's leader (Most Known Unknowns) was on ABC news commenting on the VA Tech tragedy. I also heard that she was "almost giddy" and was bragging to people about it until someone had to stop her and tell her to focus on sorrow of the tragedy, not her own 15 minutes of fame. Wow. Interesting, self-centered person you guys are choosing to run against. I seriously hope your slate, which seem so much more focused on what you can do to HELP others instead of garnering "fame at school," win.
I really like your very specific ideas: not just talk, but action plans. I have felt unsafe walking home at night; I hope you can really implement some of your strategies. I particularly like your reaching out to get valid information from us, your voting public. Hope you'll continue to do so after we elect you!
